Original rooms - completely renovated and restored
These small double room include rich antic art-deco style decor and furniture. They were the heart of the institution and had, before the renovation, no private bathroom nor wardrobe inside. Indeed people initially did not come here for a long stay. No wardrobe or suitcase space was needed.
Making these elements fit in the rooms was the main difficulty of the renovation. Fitting a modern bathroom with bath was not possible.Therefore we choose for a shower. In some of the rooms, we even had to put the wash basin outside of the bathroom, next to the bed.
As we succeeded to make the bathroom fit, there barely space left for the luggage and no place at all for a wardrobe. Be aware of it.
Of course, they do not feature a desk. It was not originally intended for the original purpose of the room. Only "Elodie" has a very small one.
A flat screen TV is also available but in order to preserve the original room's atmosphere we decided to hide this modern element behind a wood structure recovered with wallpaper.
